Student Information and Training Workshop for their Participation in the External Evaluation Process of CYQAA

The Cyprus Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education (CYQAA) organizes an information and training workshop for student participation in the external evaluation processes of the Agency.

The training seminar will take place on April 17, 2019, from 9:30 to 12:00, at the Agency's offices (Lemesos Avenue, 5, 1st floor). The workshop is addressed to students proposed by the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus University of Technology on the basis of specific academic criteria set by the Agency for potential student members of the External Evaluation Committees appointed for external evaluation and accreditation of higher education.

The workshop aspires to provide at a common understanding of the evaluation criteria and guidance to students participating in the External Evaluation Committees.

The Seminar will contribute towards,
  • the common understanding and interpretation of the external evaluation criteria
  • a better understanding of the role of the student during the evaluation process
  • the awareness on issues that may arise during the evaluation process
