Courtesy Visits to Public and Private Higher Education Institutions in Cyprus

Following the assumption of duties by the new President, Vice President and Members of the Council of the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA), a series of courtesy visits were conducted between March and May 2026 to public and private universities in Cyprus, as well as to public and private higher education institutions. In parallel, meetings were held with bodies representing higher education institutions.

The visits and meetings, which took place both at the institutions and at the offices of CYQAA, formed part of the Agency’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and strengthening its constructive cooperation with higher education institutions. Their purpose was to further enhance communication, dialogue and collaborative relationships between the Agency and the institutions it serves.

The meetings provided an opportunity for mutual introductions and the exchange of views on matters of common interest, with the aim of fostering cooperation and addressing issues relating to higher education more effectively, including matters concerning quality assurance and accreditation.

CYQAA expresses its appreciation to all institutions and their representatives for their warm reception and spirit of cooperation and looks forward to the continuation of a close and productive partnership for the benefit of higher education in Cyprus.
